What is this store's return and exchange policy?
All sales are final. No returns of any kind are accepted for health/sanitary reason (standard policy in the indie market/handmade market). No returns/exchanges is also applicable in all situations including the color was not something you like, the smell was not something you like, the products didn't work for you etc. As we all know we are all different and all have different bodies, nail types, smell sensitivities and our computer monitors can also vary in color accuracy. Swatches of polishes are a great general idea of what a polish looks like, however everyone's skin tones differ and lighting in a photograph also differs.
Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?
Yes, and No. We have successfully shipped to Canada and England but don’t list exact shipping locations beyond the US. We mark all packages as cosmetics or art supplies. Please bear in mind that once your order leaves us we are not responsible for customs fees or package confiscation.
What are your shipping costs?
Right now US address' have a flat rate shipping of $7 and international flat rate shipping of $20. This is subject to change.
What are Forget Me Not Lacquer turn around times for my order?
We are open, processing and shipping orders Monday – Friday (business days) (hours can vary depending on the day). We are NOT actively open on Saturday and Sunday or holidays.
Please be aware that we are a small business. We are always working to get orders out as fast as possible.
Many orders ship much sooner in 1-2 business days but we can’t guarantee it. Processing time: 5-7 business days (do not include weekends or holidays).
What are Forget Me Not Lacquer products shelf life?
Nail Polish -12 months (they will likely require the use of nail polish thinner to aid in adding back in solvents that have evaporated over time)
Thermal Nail Polishes - 3 months to 2 years
Top Coats/Base Coats - 12 months (they will most likely require the use of Restore + Thin or nail polish thinner to aid in adding back in solvents that have evaporated over time)
What if I recived the wrong item?
If that happens we will ask you to provied us with pictures of the wrong item(s). We will ship you the correct item(s). You will get to keep what was shiped to you accidently.
What I if my mail is lost or stolen?
Forget Me Not Lacquer is not responsible for lost, stolen or mis-delivered items and will not be giving refunds or item replacement. Tracking numbers are provided; they will determine confirmation of delivery of goods sold.

My order was damaged in transit, what do I do?
We carefully package each order, in hopes that they get to their forever home safely. Sometimes bottles will get damaged in transit through USPS. Please understand that we have no control over this. You must provide proof (pictures) of the broken polish bottle(s)/product. You have up to 72 hours to email us with photos, order number, name and address and what polish/product was damaged or broken. If we determi that the item was broken due to packeging issues and not mishadling the mail by shipping company, we will either replace the product (if available) or refund the money.
What happenes if wrong address was given?
Packages returned to us due to incorrect shipping address will be refunded once received, minus the cost of shipping. If you provide an incorrect address, and your order has already shipped, the post office may be able to redirect it, for a fee. Please contact the post office for information on redirecting or intercepting packages.
Do you offer order combining with a credit back?
Order combining is something we can do, but it is not always done. It does not mean that you will receive credit back for any portion of the shipping costs.
