Returns & Exchanges
All sales are final.
For health and sanitary reasons (standard within the indie handmade market), we do not accept returns or exchanges of any kind, including if:
•the color was not what you expected
•the scent was not what you preferred
•the product did not meet your personal expectations
Because everyone’s skin tone, nail type, lighting, and monitor settings vary, polish colors may appear slightly different in person than on screen. Swatch photos are provided as a general reference.
My order arrived damaged
We carefully package each order with the hope it arrives safely in its forever home. Unfortunately, once a package is in the hands of the shipping carrier, we no longer have control over its handling.
If your order arrives damaged, please email us within 72 hours with:
•clear photos of the damaged bottle(s) and/or product
•your order number
•your name and shipping address
If the damage is determined to be due to packaging issues (not carrier mishandling), we will replace the affected item(s) or issue a refund if a replacement is unavailable.
I received the wrong item
If you receive an incorrect item, please contact us with photos of what was received.
We will promptly ship the correct item(s), and you may keep the item that was accidentally sent to you.
Lost, stolen, or mis-delivered packages
Once a package is marked delivered by the shipping carrier, Forget Me Not Lacquer is not responsible for lost, stolen, or mis-delivered items.
Tracking numbers are provided and serve as confirmation of shipment.
If an issue occurs, we recommend contacting your shipping carrier directly.

Wrong address provided
Packages returned to us due to an incorrect address will be refunded once received, minus the cost of shipping.
If your order has already shipped and you realize the address is incorrect, your local post office may be able to redirect or intercept the package. We recommend contacting them as soon as possible.
Order combining & shipping credits
We are happy to combine orders whenever possible.
While we will gladly combine shipping, we are not always able to issue a credit for shipping costs.
Product shelf life
•Nail polish: approximately 12 months
•Thermal nail polish: 3 months to 2 years
•Top coats & base coats: approximately 12 months
Over time, some products may naturally thicken due to solvent evaporation. Nail polish thinner can be added as needed to restore consistency.
Glow in the dark polishes
To activate the glow:
•expose polish to sunlight for 3+ hours, or
•place under black light for an extended period
The longer the exposure to UV light, the stronger and longer the glow will last.
Glow intensity also depends on the thickness of application.
Crackle polish tips
For best results:
•apply crackle over a fully dry base color
•use one even layer — do not overwork
•within 15–30 seconds the crackle effect will appear
Each nail cracks uniquely.
Finish with a glitter grabber and top coat for longevity and shine.
Crackle formulas are delicate. Always close bottles tightly and avoid leaving them open for extended periods.
International orders & customs
Yes, we proudly ship internationally.
Please note:
•international shipments may be subject to customs inspection or fees
•Forget Me Not Lacquer is not responsible for customs charges or package confiscation
Shipping costs
U.S. shipping:
•$7.50 for orders under $65
•Free shipping for orders over $65
International shipping is calculated at checkout and subject to change.
Turnaround time
Orders are processed and shipped Monday–Friday (business days).
Typical turnaround:
•1–2 business days
•during launches and sales: up to 5–7 business days
Weekends and holidays are not included.
As a small business, we always work hard to get your pretties out as quickly as possible.
