My Story
My name is Agata, and I am the founder and creator of Forget Me Not Lacquer.
I was born and raised in Poland and now live in the United States with my husband and our two children. Art has always been part of my life — from painting to creative expression — and I have spent over two decades exploring color, texture, and emotion through art.
My love for nail polish began as a small act of self-care, a simple way to create beauty during everyday moments. Over time, it became another artistic outlet — one that allowed me to tell stories through color and finish.
The heart of Forget Me Not Lacquer comes from loss, love, and remembrance. Before my mother passed away from breast cancer, I received a final package from her that contained forget-me-not flower seeds — her favorite flower. That moment stayed with me, and I knew one day I would carry that name forward, keeping her memory alive through something meaningful.
Creating nail polish feels much like painting to me: each shade tells a story, evokes emotion, and invites connection. Forget Me Not Lacquer is not just about color — it’s about memory, feeling, and the beauty of small moments.
